When can I bring my new Labradoodle puppy home?

For our puppy’s protection, GlenEden “babies” must receive their 8-week puppy vaccine before visiting. For that reason, we also do not allow guests to interact with puppies prior to their 8-week birthdate. We will be happy to help you choose a puppy based on the preferences you provide for us. GlenEden has almost 30 years of experience matching families with their perfect puppies.

Do I have to get my labradoodle puppy spayed or neutered?

Yes. Our contract states that you agree to have your puppy spayed or neutered. Meet with your Veterinarian for guidance on timing of your puppies spay/neuter. Most vets in the US suggest between 6-10 months.

Are there any restrictions once I bring my puppy home?

Your new Labradoodle puppy should stay close to home for the first few weeks. Check with your veterinarian regarding the best age for your puppy’s interactions with other dogs and dog friendly places. Vets have different opinions on timing and immunizations needed to keep your puppy safe.
