(8/3/07) Hi Judy, Just a brief update on dear Maggie...she is such a delight and is capturing hearts everywhere she goes. What a great combo she is of golden and poodle. At four months she weighed in at just under 35 lbs... She lets us do anything to her - very different than our wheaten who hated to be brushed and could barely stand to have her front paws touched. Hope all is well there with the rest of the doodles. Linda Juchatz, Kiawah Island, South Carolina (12/20/07) Dear Judy, Once again a note to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family and send Sydney's 4th birthday picture. She is doing great. We have lots of snow here and her pads always get packed with ice balls, but she knows to stand and lift each paw in the order of 1st paw, 2nd paw, rear paw, last paw and have them wiped clean - smart beast isn't she! Hope you and all your beasts are doing well also. Sincerely, Diane and Chuck Henderson, Henrietta, NY
(12/15/07) We were taking some photos for our Christmas letter and I thought you might like to see what Bailey looks like now at 7 months. She is quite the character and we love her! She loves the snow. We only have about 6 inches....I can't wait to see what she thinks of several feet! I think we should have named her Velcro! She goes everywhere with me. If I go upstairs, she goes upstairs. If I go downstairs, she goes down stairs. If I am working on the computer, she is at my feet. She would certainly join me in the shower if I would let her... We will continue with dog school in the spring. I will continue to work with her during the winter months but the 1 1/2 hour drive could be a problem in the winter (at least the first 40 minutes of it). Since we live in the mountains, we seem to also live in our own little climate zone and the roads can be icy here when they are fine most other places. She does fine on everything in Level 2 except the stand and so we will really work on that here at home. Have a great holiday season. Dottie Osterhout, Reparius, New York (7/21/07) Hello! We are just about to celebrate Isabelle’s (aka Izzy) 2nd birthday on July 22nd and I am terribly remiss in writing to thank you for our "poodle head." Daughter of Beulah and Star, our Izzy has proven to be the family’s center of attention. We knew she would fit right in the moment she graced the doorway but we had no idea how special she would become. A charmer, she is constantly in search of some fun … a ball enthusiast, a “squeeker” toy nut and now finally a water lover (although it did take a little coaxing on our part to get her to willingly jump into the lake). In a nutshell, we are thoroughly and completely in love. I have been meaning to write for months to tell you how excited we are to pass on the GlenEden info to the many admirers of sweet Isabelle...Thank you for our Izzy and we will check in with you again! The Johnson Family, Charlotte, North Carolina (4/24/08) Hi Judy, I just wanted to write and thank you for breeding an absolutely wonderful dog (Waffles, born in Sept 07),she is now a happy member of our family and is confident, loving, and well..just perfect... Thanks, have a great day out there...Marianne Mann, MD, Highland, MD (9/5/07) Here is a new picture of Kody. He will be a year old in a few weeks. That is hard to believe. He is such a sweet heart. He has turned into my shadow which is very interesting as the dog we lost last year right before we got Kody was my shadow. It is funny how things work out. He has turned into a very good swimmer and loves to go daily. As you can see he has his summer haircut. The groomer is very attached to him and spoils him when he is there. That is very easy to do. Hope all is well there….Sonya Koehler, West End, NC

Hi Judy, I wanted to let you know that Sophie, 5 years old, is as wonderful as the day I got her from you. She is so sweet and is wonderful with my grandchildren (and anyone who comes into my home). My daughter moved in with so we now have a 2 year old papillon and a 4 year old chihuahua to keep her company (along with my old bichon. Sophie "plays" with them by lying on the floor and allowing them to jump all over her. I am a widow am very grateful for her love and companionship. Thanks for this huge wonderful bundle of love. (2/18/08) Hi Judy! I just wanted to send you an update and some recent pictures of Wrigley & Camden playing in the park. They are now 6.5 months old and they are doing great! James and I love them so so much! They have brought us so much happiness and love. Our little guys are getting big quickly. They have a wonderful time at the dog parks here in Philadelphia, and have a ton of doggie friends that they enjoy playing with. Both Wrigley and Camden are always wearing smiles on their faces and are ready to greet us with wagging tails. They are the sunshine in our day-to-day and we don't know what we would do with out them! We hope you all had a nice holiday season and we hope to get Camden & Wrigley down to the farm for a visit this year! Best Wishes - Ann (Ryan), James, Camden, & Wrigley Philadelphia, PA
(4/23/08) Judy, We wanted to send you an updated photo of Koko, a Gleneden labradoodle that our son, Daniel, picked out in January 2008. Koko is now 5 months old and is doing just great. We have 3 children under 5, and although many friends were wary of us adding a dog to our mix, she has fit in beautifully. She has not shown any aggressiveness toward the kids, and loves being with all of them. She was house trained completely in 3 weeks, and rings a bell when she wants to go outside. The only problem that she had was 2 bladder infections over the first 2 months that we had her, but none in the last 2 months and she seems to have outgrown that problem. We could not be happier with our selection of Koko, and thank you for her. We've worked hard in her training and she recently graduauted from Puppy Training class. We're sure that she was the best in her class! We hope that all is well with you and everyone at Gleneden. Thanks again. Dan and Kelly Jones and family, Greensboro, NC (3/23/08) Hi Judy, Just wanted to say THANK YOU...what a joy...we have had Jersey Girl now for two and a half years and pick up her little buddy Jake a year and a half ago...(Jersey is now 50lbs and her little buddy is 70lbs not so little any more)...just back from there Vet where they also get there grooming. The girls there make such a fuss over them,I thought at first it was just good business...not so...your Pups...now ours just wrap people around there paws...love and joy...just great Dogs.. Thanks again...Tony Stasi, Richmond, Virginia (12/3/07) Hi Judy and Anya, Hope this note finds you all well at Gleneden. Dave, Chey, Max and I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Chey turned 1 year old on October 6th she is definitely our little girl, she is very cuddly and loving. Max is our little man, he is a character, he'll be one year on Jan 1st. Their therapy dog training is going well they should be ready for their test in March. I've included a few pictures of Max watching The Dog Whisperer. He is an absolute riot whenever there is another dog on the t.v. You can't pry him away from it. Thank you again, for bringing these two wonderful characters into our lives.Happy Holidays! Dave and Kelli Kieffer, Cincinnati, OH (2/16/08) Judy, We adopted our little male, Loki, on mother's day weekend 07. He has been a delight to our whole family. He was so easy to house train.I think my German shepherd really took care of that! He is a very robust 80 lbs at 10 1/2 months. My vet assures me he looks great and is not overeating. ( we feed him twice daily as you instructed). We love large dogs and don't mind sharing the sofa or any other comfy place to sit with him. He is crazy about our German shepherd and his half- sister, Chloe, who lives next door! ( Stump adoption last fall). They play together quite a bit in our fenced yard... Thank you so much ! (8/3/07) Hi Judy and Anya, Bridget turned one on Sunday so I thought it would be a great time to write and let you know how she is doing. Attached is a picture of her patiently waiting to eat her birthday hamburger. Bridget is doing great! I couldn't ask for a better dog. She's so much fun to have around. I think she is full grown now at just about 50 lbs. Its unfortunate that we couldn't make it down for the Doodle Romp, but we went to one up here in the Boston area this spring so we had the opportunity to make some more doodle friends there. Bridget has really turned into quite the swimmer so its been fun to take her to area parks and let her go swimming in the lake. Her good looks make her very popular around the neighborhood. Hope all is well. Talk to you soon Stephanie Jones, Boston, MA (10/21/07)
Hello Anya and Judy, We are so looking forward to the Doodle Romp! We came to the one you had last fall and the entire family had a great time. Oscar, our two year old GoldenDoodle had so much fun running around. Oscar, born July 2, 2005, is such a loveable and “mushy” dog. Everyone who comes in contact with him falls in love. Our 4 year old daughter has nicknamed him “Poochie Oscar”. She lays all over him and he is so good natured. Our 7 year old son loves running around with Oscar outside. I’ve enclosed 2 photos. One taken the day we came to GlenEden to bring Oscar home , Labor Day Weekend 2005, and one taken a few weeks ago with our daughter. Warmest Regards, The Klemow Family – Jason, Karen, Aaron, Sara and Oscar Gaithersburg, MD
3/19/07) Dear Judy, Just wanted to let you know how we are loving Follie. Hard to believe it is a year since we got her. How time flies. She is such a love and a great addition to our family. Thank you again for such a wonderful gift! Here is a photo at Xmas with our daughter. With kind regards, Cathy Huycke, Hanover, Massachusetts (4/4/07) Judy, Just wanted to send you a note thanking you for this wonderful puppy. We have named him Bailey (like hundreds of other doodle owners it seems) and he is an incredible member of our family. Attached are a couple of pictures from a trip to Vermont in March, he loves the snow and was diving through it like a dolphin. Thanks again, Peter Borboroglu, Towaco, NJ
